Uplifting Paws is hosting a virtual walk/run with your dog. Walk or run at least a 5K (3.1 miles) over the course of the week to complete the challenge. The distance does not need to be completed in one session, so feel free to do as many sessions as you need. If you’re a more avid walker/runner, feel free to record your mileage for the whole week. We have prizes for different distances and we’ll be recognizing the person/pup pair that goes the farthest!

REGISTRATION: $10 per person before September 5th, or $15 for late registration the week of the event. No fee for dogs, though, so feel free to do multiple sessions with different dogs so that everyone gets to join in on the fun. Registration fees and donations all help run our service and therapy dog programs. Thank you for your support! COMPLETION: Record your distance with a device or app (Fitbit, Apple Watch, Strava, etc.)--any method that allows you to send us a screenshot of your activity. Send your distance screenshot, name, and mailing address to cassie@upliftingpaws.org by 11:59pm, September 11th to receive a ribbon and certificate. Keep an eye on our social media accounts on September 12th to see the fastest 5K and the farthest distance completed by participants and their pups!

BONUS: As you’re out and about, make sure to snap a picture of you and your pup and submit it along with your distance screenshot. We’ll post the photos on our Facebook page on Saturday, September 12th, and the photo with the most likes at noon on Monday, September 14th, will get a prize.
