Pre-Therapy

Service Description

This course is designed to help refine skills needed for our future therapy teams. This is a required course for prospective therapy dogs. In this class we will focus on skills necessary to pass the CGC and CGCA tests and finish the session with these tests as part of the passing curriculum to move onward to therapy certification. Prerequisites for Pre Therapy include either of the following: a current therapy team needing to recertify or a graduate from Intermediate Adult. **If your dog has completed a CGC elsewhere and you are hoping to enter this class, Please email our head trainer grayson@upliftingpaws.org to schedule an evaluation. Evaluations will be required in order to skip class levels.** To sign up from this page, click "Book Now" then "Check Next Availability".
